Hosting and Server Logs

This website is hosted as a static site with Hetzner and served through Caddy. When you access the site, technically necessary server log data is processed, including IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, HTTP status, referrer, and user agent. This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for secure and stable website delivery.

Cookies and Tracking

jonathanwrede.de does not set its own tracking cookies and does not use web analytics such as Google Analytics. The main pages load icons and styles locally from this site's own build.

External Media and Links

Some blog posts may embed externally hosted media, for example demo GIFs from raw.githubusercontent.com. Loading such content can transfer your IP address to the respective provider. External links lead to third-party services; their own privacy notices apply.

If you contact me by email, your information is processed to handle the request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the request relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
